Darkness and her crimson tide
Linger in the morning air
Slipping through branches outstreched
Dancing in the misty haven
Of the beautiful yet lonely hearts
She comes to sit beside the entrance
To the world beyond
Never seeking to pass
But always watching through
Just to see...
I watch from above the clouds
My heart cries out for her
But she never hears
She looks in the wrong place
But she never gives up hope
Darkness and her crimson tide
Cover the sun, block the innocence
Take the love, turn it aside
Burn the hate, bask in the corruption
And yet...
She comes and sits, once again
Beside that gloomy entrance
Just to see the world beyond
And perhaps to see her lost love
Just once she hopes...
I watch, standing just behind her
My heart sings at the joy
Of being so close to her
But aches of the thought
Of not being able to touch her
Darkness and her crimson tide
Move over to the overpowering
Of dawn breaking through the crimson tide
Light now rules over darkness
At least for a little while
She stands, about to move away
But something holds her back
She turns around, but sees nothing
Just the moutain view, the misty covering
Her face falls, tears, broken hopes
I stand here, infront of her
Clear to see, in any light
Her face lights up
My heart sings in everlasting joy
And together we are taken from this world
